Free bank payouts
Stripe pays your takings into your bank account within a few working days, free of charge. Need the money right away? Instant payout arrives in about 30 minutes (≈ 1.5%, charged by Stripe).
Nothing is switched on by default: without online payments, your clients pay in person and Daytio only ever charges your subscription.
The questions we get asked
- Is there a cheaper plan?
- Yes: Daytio Mini, at €2 a month (billed in euros), for those who just want a booking link. Services, opening hours, a synced diary and email confirmations, up to 100 appointments a month, without client records or online payments. Monthly, no commitment, with a 7-day free trial.
- Can I change plan later?
- Yes, in both directions, from your own account. Moving up to Pro, you only pay the difference for the days left and everything unlocks straight away. Moving back down to Essential takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.
- What happens to my client records if I go back to Essential?
- They are kept, never deleted. They simply become unavailable while you are on Essential, and you find them intact if you move back up to Pro.
- Does the trial require a card?
- For the Essential and Pro plans, yes: your card is saved when you sign up, but nothing is charged during the 30-day trial. You get a reminder email 3 days before it ends, and you can cancel in one click from your settings: you then pay nothing. The Team plan can be tried without a card.
- Do you take a commission on my appointments?
- No. An appointment booked and paid for in person earns us nothing beyond your subscription, whatever your volume. The one exception is online payments, an option you switch on if you want it: there, each payment is charged 1.5% + €0.25 per transaction for cards issued in Europe, 3.15% + €0.25 elsewhere (Stripe fees included).
- How do online payments work?
- Available from the Essential plan (US$11.99/month), they let you ask for a deposit or the full amount at booking — the most effective way to cut no-shows. Everything runs through Stripe: you create your account in a few minutes from your settings, and your clients' money goes straight there, never to a Daytio account. You enable payment service by service.
- What does an online payment cost, and when do I get the money?
- 1.5% + €0.25 per transaction for cards issued in Europe, 3.15% + €0.25 elsewhere, taken from the payment — Stripe's banking fees are included in it, nothing is added on top. On a €50 payment from a European client you therefore receive €49. Stripe then pays you automatically into your bank account, free of charge, within a few working days. If you want the money in 30 minutes, Stripe's instant payout is available on demand (around 1.5%, at your expense).
- Am I tied in for a period?
- No. You cancel whenever you like from your account, and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
